Description: Stable isotopic signatures of carbon (∂13C) and nitrogen (∂15N) for blue mussels, dog cockles, green-lipped mussels, horse mussels and scallops from sites with the Marlborough Sounds, Tasman Bay, Doubtful Sounds and Aramoana. All five species are not uniformly present across all sites. Samples from Marlborough Sounds were collected in the February 2018 and November 2018. Samples from Tasman Bay were collected November 2018. Samples from Doubtful Sound were collected February 2019. Samples from Aramoana were collected April 2019. Data can be used to identify contribution of organic matter to the diet of the target suspension feeders on the South Island, New Zealand. (Sustainable Seas project number 4.1.1)
