Trace metal concentrations for five species of suspension feeding bivalve from the Marlborough Sounds, Tasman Bay, Doubtful Sound and Aramoana (NSC 4.1.1 (8))

Description: Forty trace element concentrations including cadmium, arsenic, lead, zinc, chromium, copper and nickel for blue mussels, dog cockles, green-lipped mussels, horse mussels and scallops from sites within the Marlborough Sounds, Tasman Bay, Doubtful Sounds and Aramoana. All five species are not uniformly present across all sites. Samples from Marlborough Sounds were collected in the February 2018 and November 2018. Samples from Tasman Bay were collected November 2018. Samples from Doubtful Sound were collected February 2019. Samples from Aramoana were collected April 2019. Data can be used to identify trace metal fingerprints across sites and species on the South Island, New Zealand. (Sustainable Seas project number 4.1.1)
