Description: To explore the question of who grants a social licence, and what factors most influence social licence, we surveyed 237 respondents about aquaculture in New Zealand. Respondents were recruited via posts on social media and via email to industry and company lists of stakeholders. Of the responses, 102 rated a particular company and 135 chose to rate either shellfish farming or finfish farming generally. (Sustainable Seas project number 1.2.1)
